I'll be honest with you — that's kind of my whole thing.

I'm Chrissy Sidler. I'm a licensed broker and Realtor® with RE/MAX Town & Country in Murphy, NC, and I've been here since 2016. Before Murphy, I was in Florida. Before Florida, I was in Washington DC. I've relocated more than once, rebuilt from scratch more than once, and learned the hard way what it actually takes to plant roots somewhere new.

That experience is exactly why I'm good at this job.

Most of my clients aren't from here. They're coming from Florida, Ohio, Michigan, DC — dreaming about mountain life, a cabin on a few acres, a slower pace, fresh air. They've been watching Zillow for months. They've driven through Murphy once on vacation and thought, "I could see myself here." And now they're ready to actually do it — but they're nervous about making a $300,000 mistake in a market they don't fully understand yet.

I get it. I've been exactly where you are.

Here's what I bring to the table: six national real estate designations that most agents in this market never bothered to earn, dual licenses in NC and GA, and two businesses built in Cherokee County. I hold the ABR, SRS, RENE, RSPS, AHWD, and C2EX. I'm a member of the Mountain Lakes Board of Realtors and a 2026 graduate of the NC REALTORS® William H. Bass Leadership Academy.
